For diagnostics, a modern intraoral scanner replaces uncomfortable silicone impressions: your teeth are simply scanned. The digital impression produces detailed 3D models for diagnostics, treatment planning and progress monitoring — and even before treatment begins, we can show you what your teeth are expected to look like at the end.
Three options are common: a removable retention splint worn at least at night; a bonded retainer — a fine wire glued behind the lower front teeth from canine to canine — and digitally manufactured precision retainers, custom-cut after a scan.
